CYDA is the national representative organisation for children and young people with disability aged 0 to 25 years. Our vision is that children and young people with disability living in Australia are afforded every opportunity to thrive and achieve their potential, and that their rights and interests as individuals, members of a family and community are met.
About the role
Work type: Fixed-term (12 months), Full-time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $85,000 to $90,000 plus generous salary packaging
Location: Flexible – national (remote working) or office in Collingwood, Victoria
Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) has an exciting new opportunity for someone with a passion for policy and excellent written and analytical skills to join us and contribute to our national policy and advocacy work.
Reporting to and working alongside the Policy and Program Manager, the Policy Officer will prepare submissions, reports and other relevant policy and advocacy work to progress the rights of children and young people with disability. This will involve a range of activities including data analysis, desktop research, and engaging with CYDA’s members, partner organisations and stakeholders.
