Fundraising Manager

Parkinson’s Victoria raises awareness and funds for services and research to improve the quality of life for 27,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Victoria. Their mission is to empower people living with Parkinson’s to live full and active lives and support research into effective treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s. Every day through their multi-disciplinary health team, they provide information, education, and peer support services for the Parkinson’s community.

This exciting opportunity exists to implement a multi-channel fundraising program. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and leading a small team, the Fundraising Manager will be responsible for growing and diversifying revenue from the public, philanthropic and corporate sectors. Leading the strategic development, design and delivery of fundraising portfolios including Gifts in Wills, Major/Mid Donors, Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Major Fundraising Events, and Community Fundraising; you will play an integral role in shaping the future of Parkinson’s Victoria.

You will be a generalist fundraiser with proven success in developing and implementing best practice standards, systems and programs. Designing supporter journeys that engage, connect and steward donors will be key to this role to leverage support and increase retention, along with presenting proposals, managing the acquittal process and confidently leading ‘the ask’ to secure significant gifts.

Excellent relationship building and communication skills are essential to develop and present compelling cases for support, along with experience in designing sophisticated donor driven content, campaigns and strategies. Demonstrated experience in leading multi-channel fundraising portfolios towards new milestones is required, plus team leadership capability. Qualifications in marketing, communications or fundraising is desirable.
