The last couple of years have been a time of substantial change for the organisation as it has sought to offer new services and optimise its business models for existing services. Your role will be to oversee the governance of the organisation and play a key role in ensuring that the organisation’s strategy is clear, appropriate and effective. You will contribute to harmonious and effective Board relationships ensuring that the quality of discussion and decision-making is world-class. Stakeholder relationships are key to the success of the organisation and you will contribute to their management. 

You will partner with the Chief Executive to ensure the effective execution of strategy and to act as an effective mentor, sounding board and support. 

You have substantial board experience, including acting as a Chair. Your experience could be in any of a range of sectors, but you are committed to the mission of the YMCA and take an extremely values based approach to your work.
