About the role
We are looking for a Community Engagement Officer who will be responsible for contributing to the continued development and implementation of our stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Effective community engagement enables HHS to manage relationships and information exchanges with a diverse range of people and to work towards the creation and delivery of vibrant, thriving and well-connected communities and subsequently, promotes good customer service.
The Community Engagement Officer will work as a part of a multidisciplinary team and will be an experienced professional with considerable knowledge and experience in community engagement, preferably within the homelessness, social and affordable rental housing, and/or disability sectors.
The Community Engagement Officer will assist with the redevelopment of a long-term community engagement plan both at a strategic and operational level. The position will also contribute to improving the level of effective communications, community engagement that is participatory, inclusive, and collaborative and through the review of policies, processes and management of data.
