Partnerships and Sponsorship Manager

Coeliac Australia is currently looking for an experienced manager to lead the Partnerships and Sponsorship portfolio, based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Coeliac Australia is a national registered charity offering membership, support and information services to Australians with coeliac disease and associated conditions requiring a gluten free diet.

You will be an innovative thinker and have the versatility and capacity to thrive when managing the varied programs run by Coeliac Australia.

Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate will show initiative and exercise professionalism by contributing to a harmonious working environment that enhances work satisfaction and team collaboration.

Within this role you will:

• Design and implement Coeliac Australia’s national partnership and sponsorship strategy, identifying key areas of opportunity
• Deliver a sustainable multi-faceted revenue stream in accordance with financial targets set annually
• Assess and approach potential partners ensuring alignment with Coeliac Australia values
• Lead and manage a small team and providing coaching and support where appropriate
• Manage and grow the Sponsorship Program
• Manage and grow the Gluten Free Accreditation Program (food service)
• Manage and grow the Endorsement Program (packaged products)
• Successfully deliver national Gluten Free Expo’s annually
• Manage and grow the Advertising program (print and digital)
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with strategic partners
• Manage the negotiation, development, implementation and reporting of all relevant partnership agreements

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring:

• Demonstrated minimum two/five-year experience and record of success developing, leading and executing a Corporate Partnerships or Sponsorship program
• Demonstrated success in establishing and managing diverse key external and internal stakeholder relationships
• Proven experience in managing and leveraging strategic partnerships and opportunities to achieve commercial outcomes
• Demonstrated success negotiating and managing contracts and accounts
• An understanding of charitable Corporate Partnerships, corporate social responsibility and cause marketing
• Strong networks within the gluten free manufacturing sector or hospitality sector at senior levels
• Commercial acumen
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders often with differing objectives
• Well-developed communication skills – both oral and written
• Knowledge of coeliac disease and the gluten free diet is highly desirable
• Experience with Salesforce highly desirable
• Knowledge of Food Standards Code highly desirable
