About the role

The Role:

Reporting to the Board, and as a key contributor at Board meetings, the primary purpose of this exciting role is to innovatively implement the strategic direction of Brite and lead a program of growth. The CEO is expected to maintain and further develop Brite’s strong reputation whilst meeting statutory regulations, policies and procedures set out by the NDIS, as well as other legislative requirements. The CEO is expected to provide innovative and strategic leadership to a diverse and technically qualified team and continue to monitor, report and improve on the service’s financial sustainability.

The Candidate:

Strong communication skills, strategic planning experience, financial management and reporting expertise are fundamental requirements for the CEO position, along with strong negotiation and motivational ability. Demonstrated experience in nurturing and developing stakeholder relations with local communities, government agencies and private industry, whilst developing a program of growth will be key measurements for success. 

You will have:

  • relevant C-Suite experience, skills and tertiary qualifications in human services and general management at a senior level
  • social procurement expertise (innovative strategies for new product pipelines for manufacturing)
  • demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex problems
  • proven skill in strategic analysis
  • demonstrated commitment to person centred practices
  • a detailed working knowledge of the NDIS
  • strong Local and State Government networks (desirable)
  • experience within an RTO environment (desirable)

The Offer:

The Chief Executive Officer position is offered on a three year contract basis at a competitive salary plus superannuation and flexible work options. Attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging benefits are also available.
