Key Strategic Activities 2020-2024:

  • Strengthen our capacity as a leading social enterprise to increase and improve wellbeing and prevent suicide of people in the workplace by providing an appropriate balance of digital and personal support and services.
  • Continue to build the evidence base for our work and programs and progress our core relationship with research partners.
  • Broaden our funding base and financial sustainability through increasing fee for service and other revenue streams.
  • Continuously improve existing programs and develop new programs and delivery modes that respond to community needs and expectations.

About the role

Role responsibilities:

Ability to provide secretariat support to Board Directors and sub-committees, including minute taking, preparing papers and organising meetings. Assist with records management. Correspondence and supporting meetings to facilitate the effective management of the Agenda.

Research and prepare high level correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the achievement of strategic business requirements. Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency outcomes.

Gather, collate, and provide background information for Management and Board reports to support informed decision making and planning.

Selection Criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar position
  • Excellent written skills and ability to draft high quality correspondence
  • Good research skills and ability to consolidate and process information from multiple sources to assist in building well-presented briefs and reports
  • Commitment to working in a values-based organisation demonstrated by an alignment with the purpose
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, work accurately to deadlines, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Managing compliance processes in the office environment, including policies, systems, and human resources
  • Commitment to excellence, efficiency and accuracy in the office environment; operating with integrity, tact and discretion, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders ranging from clients, government and external organisations
  • Strong to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience managing projects

Highly Desirable:

Degree or Graduate Diploma in business related field of study

Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM

Experience in NFP community sector organisations
