About the role

The Fundraising co-ordinator will assist in the generation of income through diverse fundraising activities and campaigns, assist with marketing activities and help support fundraising campaign sponsors and participants.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Engaging with donors to implement our donor care program
  • Ensuring that CRM records are updated with all relevant contact information and that activities are accurately recorded
  • Identifying and assisting initiatives for third party and participation based event activities
  • Coordination of involvement in third party events (e.g. Run Melbourne and City2Surf) including recruitment and engagement of participants and event planning to achieve set objectives
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Community Fundraisers to ensure they are supported throughout their fundraising activities
  • Onboarding and supporting newly acquired fundraisers
  • Thanking community fundraisers by phone, thank you letters and certificates of appreciation
