About the role

Partner with a diverse group of national and international stakeholders

Full-time, permanent role based in Sydney

Salary packaging with full FBT

 

We are seeking a colleague who wants to use their financial expertise to make a positive impact by partnering with key international aid and development stakeholders.

 

About you

You will thrive as the International Programs Finance Coordinator if you have:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft programs and finance systems such as SUN Financials (Advance Inquiry), Infor ION Business Intelligence suite and ProMaster
  • Demonstrated experience in the provision of high quality financial and business advice to key stakeholders within a not-for-profit organisation or equivalent organisation
  • High level communication and presentation skills with experience in conveying complex financial information and analysis in plain-English terms
  • Demonstrated experience providing training to stakeholders based overseas, preferably in Asia and Pacific
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Business, preferably with CPA qualifications or equivalent

About your next role

You will be involved in:

  • Preparing reporting, analysis and modelling to support strategic financial initiatives
  • Supporting annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting for the International Programs team
  • Working with Caritas Australia’s International Partners to conduct financial risk assessments, coordinate financial audits, build capacity in fraud awareness through ongoing training and mentoring and coordinate fraud investigations
  • Providing strategic oversight and management of the Church Agencies Network Disaster Operations finance portfolio
  • making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people
