  About the opportunity  The Advancement Portfolio has a great opportunity for a Donor Loyalty Specialist to join the Alumni and Supporter Relations team. The role is responsible for maximising the number of donors that continue donating to the University, building their connection and engagement over time to increase their value.   In this role, you will support the Associate Director, Community Giving, in the development and implementation of best practice appeal strategies and tactics across multiple channels to support University fundraising initiatives, as well as effectively project manage all ongoing mail, digital and phone appeals for warm active donors.   You will also be tasked with creating innovative and high-impact multi-channel retention programs for all donors and supporters to increase lifetime value, by ensuring that the supporter is at the heart of everything that we do, and by managing all donor care elements for warm donors.       About you The University values courage and creativity; openness and engagement; inclusion and diversity; and respect and integrity. As such, we see the importance of recruiting talent aligned to these values and are looking for a Donor Loyalty Specialist, who:

  • has experience in managing fundraising campaigns and strategies with proven success delivering revenue growth
  • has outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate the values and priorities of a large, complex and research driven university
  • can demonstrate sensitivity and sound judgement in relation to confidentiality and privacy issues associated with alumni and donor relations and activities
  • is organised, accurate and with high attention to detail
  • has an understanding of CRM systems and the ability to read and interpret data with a demonstrated understanding of data analytics
  • has financial management experience and literacy, experience managing budgets and controlling income and expenditure for a project
  • has preferably worked in the higher education/tertiary sector or at a complex, multi-faceted organisation previously
  • is degree qualified.
