About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Manager to develop and manage three new centres within the Adelaide metro area for the development of Newpin (New Parent and Infant Network) for South Australia and Uniting Communities.

This role will require you to work autonomously and lead the establishment of this service, with support from the Senior Manager. Your previous management and leadership skills will enable you to implement the model within licence requirements, while ensuring the future viability of the service with effective systems.

Your ability to build relationships with key stakeholders including the Department of Child Protection will secure the success of Newpin within South Australia.  You will also need to make a commitment to effectively manage, recruit, support and induct staff, monitor and manage a service’s financial performance, set up and monitor data systems.

About You

Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, such as Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or another relevant field

  • Have experience working with families involved with the child protection system
  • Have experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities
  • Have experience in management and leadership in the Community Services or a similar sector
  • Have experience in developing strategic, working relationships to achieve program outcomes
  • Have experience designing and implementing change within services.
