About the Opportunity
Regional Australia Bank now has a rare opportunity for a Chief Executive Officer to join their team at Head Office in Armidale, NSW on a full-time basis.
Working in partnership with the Board of Directors, the CEO will primarily be responsible for the implementation and ongoing advancement of Regional Australia Bank’s strategic vision and plans.
The CEO will be a key contributor to upholding the entrepreneurial drive of the organisation whilst maintaining security of funds and a strong community focus. Building and sustaining productive and collaborative relationships with customers, community members, regulatory bodies and other key stakeholders, will be an integral component of the role.

Who Are We Looking For?
To be considered for this role, you will be tertiary-qualified in Business, Finance or a related discipline with demonstrable executive level experience and a sound understanding of the Customer Owned Banking sector.
You must demonstrate the ability to lead strategic planning and implement business strategy, including as part of corporate transformation and change management projects. You will need to be intrinsically ethical and prepared to uphold the organisational values of integrity, respect and fairness in all of your dealings.
Regional Australia Bank is looking for a natural leader with strong communication skills who is able to build talent from within and foster a high performance culture. Importantly, you must bring a collaborative approach to the role and an open attitude that invites contribution from internal and external talent.
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport, and maintain strong, effective relationships with, a number of diverse stakeholders. You must be willing to get involved with the local community, maintain customer-focus and be a voice for them.
Whilst comprehensive technical knowledge is not essential, you will ideally understand digital innovation and be prepared to take advantage of opportunities to advance Regional Australia Bank’s unique offerings in this space.
