The Organisation

NSW Labor is the largest and oldest branch of the Australian Labor Party.  They believe in the values of equality and fairness.

Working with NSW Labor means that you will be a significant contributor to a movement dedicated to keeping Australia fair.

The Role

Working closely with the leadership team, this strategic yet hands-on role will develop and manage the fundraising and philanthropy strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Specifically you will:

  • Develop strategy across all key fundraising activities
  • Cultivate relationships with donors and partners
  • Oversee regular giving, major donor, and bequests programs
  • Drive innovative direct mail, digital, advertising and public relations campaigns

Skills Required

You are a senior fundraiser, able to demonstrate significant success and innovation. Ideally you will come from a movement building campaigning organisation within politics, human rights, social justice, the arts, education or a similar values-driven social change organisation.

Additionally, you have experience in:

  • Researching, analysing and evaluating fundraising activities
  • Developing robust stewardship models and compelling donor journeys
  • Developing project management and monitoring frameworks
  • Meeting and exceeding annual fundraising targets
