As a providers of Disability Employment Services, SSI works to support people with disability as well as providing assistance to employers to put in place practices that support the employee in the workplace.

About the role

The Post Placement Support Consultant role is responsible for the ongoing relationship with clients and external stakeholders to work towards a mutual beneficial outcome.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support clients in the workplace to maintain ongoing employment through effective post-placement support (PPS), focusing on those clients in ongoing support, with an intent to transition them to independent worker
  • Continually surveying the local job market in order to identify suitable and alternative employment opportunities
  • Help Employment Consultants achieve their performance requirements
  • Ensure team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations are consistently met and exceeded.
  • Motivate and support jobseekers within the workplace
  • Build positive and sustainable relationships with employers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A background in Employment Services and proven experience working towards KPIs
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
