Eastern Melbourne Primary Health Network (EMPHN) is one of six primary health networks in Victoria. They act to increase the efficiency of medical services, reduce fragmentation of care and improve health outcomes in their catchment, especially for the most vulnerable. EMPHN achieve this goal by improving access to existing services, commissioning services to improve health outcomes and by supporting General Practice and others to innovate and further improve local health care.

The organisation is focussing on the development of innovative models of care and this role will be a key leader in the mental health space. You will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including the community to understand mental health needs and develop innovative and value-add solutions. This role is all about building enduring and respectful partnerships which will result in the co-design of new approaches to optimising mental health.

You have a background and credibility in the mental health sector. You have a relevant qualification and are an innovative thinker who relishes the challenge of identifying health outcomes and creatively achieving their delivery. You are strongly committed to evidence-based solutions and know how to take research findings and apply them. You are deeply respectful and empowering of others and genuinely seek to incorporate other’s ideas into new approaches.
