THE ROLE

The Macquarie Global Leadership Program is seeking 2 Advisors for the Global Leadership Program Advisor role to join the high-performing Global Leadership Program team as a parental leave cover. The role offers an exciting mix of complex project management including event and trip management, relationship building both internal and external to the university, research and content development using best practice pedagogy, student guiding/mentoring, with some local travel.

About You

You are an active global citizen who loves people. You are engaged with the issues affecting the world today, such as sustainability, the future of work, innovation, human rights and equality, and want your job to have a positive social impact. You value collaboration and team outcomes while being able to work autonomously to achieve your goals. You have experience and/or interest in working with students and/or young people with several years working in complex project management.  You are adept in multiple communication styles and formats, including public speaking,  across a broad range of activities and mediums. You are able to juggle various projects and worktypes, both with competing deadlines, in a single day. You value human-centered design principles and are able to create engaging and impactful learning experiences for students that reflect the values and mission of the program and Macquarie University.  Given the 12-month contract nature, you are also a quick-learner and confident operator.

About Us
