About the program
The Justice Programs South East provide holistic support service for adults and young people involved in the justice system or who are exiting adult prisons &/or Youth Justice centres, who are assessed as high risk/need, with limited social and family networks, limited accommodation and post release support options and experiencing multiple and complex health problems.
Brosnan staff deliver quality programs in a manner that reflects the social justice principles of participation, equity, access and respect.
Services include: intensive outreach support, case management, supported accommodation, drug and alcohol counselling, recreation programs and employment/training programs.
Brosnan Services contributes to many regional and state-wide advisory forums and networks and assists in a more comprehensive approach to justice through partnerships with Government agencies and other service providers and to legislation, policy development and advocacy.

About the role
We are looking for an experienced staff member to join our South East team, to provide administration support to our programs based in Dandenong.
Our programs provide intensive support, mentoring and restorative approaches for young people and ensures young people referred to programs are; are linked to family, community and culture, have pathways to economic participation and have access to a range of supports and services in relation to health, housing and developmental needs.
This is a part time position (0.4FTE). Competitive remuneration, plus salary packaging benefit, is offered together with ongoing professional and career development.
Candidate requirements
This role will suit a candidate with the following skills and experience and/or attributes:
- Customer service oriented.
- Friendly, mature-minded, personable manner.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to take on new tasks as required.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Understanding and sympathy with the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services
- Previous experience working with a not for profit is desirable
- Current driver’s licence
- Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check card.
