About the role
We’re looking for two professional HR Administration Assistants with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a full-time basis. One permanent position and one position as a 12 months maternity leave cover are available. Each role will be working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy, currently working from home.

THE ROLE
The HR Administration Assistant is a key support position that will work closely with the HR team to support the operational activity of the function. This position provides high level of administration support with recruitment and other HR processes, and often deals with matters of a confidential nature.
- Be the first point of contact for HR related queries for all managers, employees and applicants
- Manage the online recruitment systems and email accounts
- Process pre employment checks, employment and variation contracts and on-boarding documentation
- Prepare correspondence, letters, reports, minutes of meetings and other documents as required
- Liaise with other departments regarding employee data and information
Salary will be $64,624.42 per annum, based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:
- relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources with demonstrated experience in a similar HR or broad administration role
- a comprehensive understanding of HR processes including recruitment
- proven working knowledge of MS Office programs including Word, Excel and Outlook
- proven strong attention to detail, and an ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism
- knowledge of the National Employment Standards and ability to comply with all legislative requirements
- proven ability to assess and meet priorities and deadlines through good time management in a self organised and methodical manner.
- well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels both internally, externally and with people from diverse backgrounds
- ability to work unsupervised and independently while also holding a commitment to working within and contributing to a team
- flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
