Your Next Career Move
Reporting directly to our newly appointed CEO and working with the Executive and Senior Leadership teams, this is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation with ambitious plans for the future. In this role, you will deliver the outcomes in the TJW Strategic Plan with a clear focus on growth opportunities. Drawing on your significant executive experience you will:
- Identify emerging trends that may lead to opportunities / pose threats
- Keep abreast of policy developments within the NDIS space
- Develop leadership potential and provide support for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Ensure best practice governance across all TJW programs and activities
- Continually monitor risk and implement strategies to mitigate or eliminate risk where possible
- Ensure sustainability of all TJW programs and activities
- Develop business proposals to support strategic initiatives
- Develop operational plans and budgets for regular reporting to the board
- Represent TJW at state and national forums where relevant and appropriate
- Attend all board meetings and committee meetings that may be relevant to your area of expertise.
About You
The successful applicant will possess the following skills, experience, knowledge and personal attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications (undergraduate and postgraduate) including professional accounting qualifications (CPA or Chartered)
- Minimum 7 years in a senior executive role.
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of strategic directions and priorities.
- Proven ability to implement process/systems change to drive efficiency, financial sustainability and enhanced customer outcomes.
- Advanced knowledge/experience in the disruptive change of the NDIS and other government community reforms.
- Proven record of achievement in developing, implementing and strengthening finance and administration processes.
- Previous experience of managing and leading teams of people across a range of functions.
- Extensive experience as a company secretary
- Demonstrated project management skills and the capability to assess and analyse problems/challenges and recommend/implement solutions.
- Experience working closely with “for purpose” Boards and understands the governance and compliance requirements of “not for profit” organisations.
