About the role

Navigator is a program funded by state government which aims to support disengaged learners aged 12 to 17 years old to re-engage with an education or training pathway. 

Jesuit Social Services is delivering Navigator in the Inner Eastern Melbourne area in partnership with the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency and will be working closely with local schools and services and the regional Department of Education and Training office.

An exciting, part-time (.5EFT), opportunity exists for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to take on an Active Hold waitlist support work role with this initiative. 

This role will be responsible for providing individually tailored phone-based support to disengaged learners within the context of their families by ensuring they have access to a range of supports and services, whilst working closely with the Navigator Coordinator around triaging referrals. 

The role is based in Brunswick.

A base salary of $74,179 per annum, pro-rata, plus superannuation and salary packaging, together with ongoing professional and career development.
