About the opportunity

This is an exciting time to join our purposed organisation, with multiple roles available for stand out Business Partners as part of the establishment of a dedicated Workforce Experience & Partnerships team and as we implement the newly created Uniting People Strategy.

Our P&C Business Partners (BPs) work closely with Uniting’s business leaders and P&C subject matter experts to deliver a full range of value adding people and culture programs and services to attract, develop, manage and retain a large and diverse workforce.

You will be challenged to build strong relationships, work independently, develop capability, facilitate positive change and be able thrive within a complex and demanding environment.

As our BP roles support a geographically dispersed range of customers and we support hybrid/work from home work arrangements, the role can be located almost anywhere within Victoria, with a requirement of regular weekly travel (typically 1 -2 days per week) to support your customers, wherever they may be located.

Senior HR BP professionals are also encouraged to express interest in upcoming P&C BP leadership roles, as part of our growth strategy.  

About you

You have relevant human resources related tertiary qualifications and/or significant generalist human resources experience including employee relations.

A talented People & Culture Business Partner, you will bring your demonstrable contemporary human resources experience of coaching and enabling leaders across the employment lifecycle, including workforce planning, performance and talent management, wellbeing, engagement, learning and development and recognition.

You are looking for a challenging opportunity that allows you to apply the full breadth of your knowledge and make your mark in an organisation that is doing work that truly matters.
A strong work ethic, an ability to work independently, solid interpersonal skills and a proactive delivery approach will see you succeed in the role.
