About the role

JOB SUMMARY:

Help shape the future of Aged Care Navigation in Australia by using your understanding of Primary Health Network operations and commissioning services to implement this project.

You will have experience in project management, stakeholder relations (Government and other organisations) and developing outputs using a co-design methodology. You will understand how to translate conceptual ideas into a continuous improvement framework and what resources and training materials are needed to support knowledge transfer. Candidates with an operational knowledge of commissioning services will be highly regarded, as well as candidates with an understanding of the operations of Primary Health Networks. Knowledge of the aged care sector is an asset. You will have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently.

COTA Australia is an equal opportunity employer and provides flexible working conditions. The position may be based at COTA Australia’s Melbourne or Canberra office with work from home arrangements. This is a full-time (1.0FTE) contract role but we will consider a 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.

JOB DETAILS:

In this role you will develop and deliver high quality co-design activities with a diverse range of government and non-government stakeholders. You will lead the co-design of a maturity model and implement resources to transition knowledge from a project currently led by COTA Australia to the PHN’s who will deliver the new Care Finders program.

Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Stakeholder Management, Project Management and Communication
  • Develop a continuous improvement process using a co-design methodology
  • Develop training and resource material to support knowledge transition
