Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health is a not-for-profit community health organisation providing a comprehensive range of free and low cost health, wellbeing and community services in early childhood, youth, families, adults, aged and disability.

Covering an area of over 1700 km2 from Sunbury to beyond the borders of Macedon Ranges Shire our 280 staff and 100 volunteers are based across four sites at Kyneton, Romsey, Sunbury and Woodend.

A unique management opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist with leadership aspirations or experience.

This position provides supervision and operational management of the occupational therapy team.  With the support of the unit manager, the Team Leader will lead, support and supervise the staff, practices and service delivery of our growing occupational therapy team.

  • Lead an inclusive and friendly team of occupational therapists within a child and youth health multi-disciplinary team
  • Manage a varied clinical caseload and provide high level occupational therapy services to preschool aged community health children and NDIS funded preschool and school aged children
  • Provide mentoring and leadership to a team of occupational therapists
  • Develop programs to further improve the clinical skills of the team
  • Monitoring and promoting quality of service
  • Engaging with community groups and services to build strong relationships and identify capacity building opportunities

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary occupational therapy qualifications
  • Relevant clinical and/or managerial experience
  • Previous experience in mentoring, supporting and supervising a team
  • Driven, passionate and can work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Adaptable and flexible
