Our client, Rosies Friends on the Street is one of Queensland’s most beloved organisations, reaching out to those most abandoned by offering a sense of community and belonging. Underpinned by Catholic social teaching, Rosies extends unconditional friendship to those experiencing homelessness, disadvantage or social isolation.  With over 14 locations and more than 1400 volunteers this is an opportunity to contribute to an organisation making a meaningful difference to some of Queensland’s most marginalised members of our communities.
  
Reporting to the CEO and working as part of a small team this role will take responsibility for all areas of business administration including finance, risk management, property/facility management, fleet management and ensuring that all regulatory and compliance obligations are met.   To be successful in this role you will be a values-driven professional with advanced finance and/or accounting skills and possess experience that includes:

  • Reporting, budgets and forecasts, audit responsibility and asset management.
  • Management of all financial services including payroll, general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and grants.
  • Management of a broad range of business activities including risk and compliance

The design and implementation of administrative processes and procedures to make a positive impact on the organisation will be a key area of focus.
  
Experience in a small, hands-on NFP team coupled with strong planning, problem solving, analytical and organisation skills will be important.  It is anticipated that your experience is supported by tertiary qualifications in accountancy, commerce, finance, or a related discipline.
