About the organisation
NSW Trustee & Guardian protects, promotes and supports the rights, dignity, choices and wishes of the people of NSW. The agency supports the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Guardian to provide customer-centred services to the people of NSW, including some of the state’s most vulnerable. We do this by providing a range of multidisciplinary services including Will-making, trustee, financial management and guardianship services.
We write more than 13,000 estate planning documents each year, support over 47,000 customers annually and manage in excess of seven billion dollars in customer assets.

The Information and Technology division drives digital innovation and the way we interact with our customers through the development of digital products, IT support, cyber security, and information management services.
About the role
The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for leading the team of Business Analysts and implementing changes that lead to the business improvements.
In this role, you will be acting as a Project Lead and managing multiple business enhancement projects from the high-level approach to technical implementation. One of your tasks is to analyse and consolidate information provided by the customers to develop business cases to support the achievements of business objectives. This is a full-time ongoing role located in Sydney CBD (3 days per week in the office), and travel to the Parramatta office might be required.

About you
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Be an experienced leader who can inspire and drive teams
- Have strong experience as a Business Analyst or experience in a similar role (at least 5+ years),
- Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365,
- Be passionate about improving systems, developing staff and leading a team to provide customer service excellence to stakeholders,
- Be a strong communicator who can confidently collaborate with a diverse range of customers, colleagues, and senior management,
- Be resilient with a positive “can-do-attitude” and possess excellent time & prioritisation skills.

Essential requirements
- Strong Senior Business Analyst experience and skills
- Team leadership experience
- Relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT or related discipline or relevant work experience
- Understanding of NSW government and NSWTG’s key services and client base
- Up to date COVID-19 vaccination status and able to provide acceptable proof
