  • Supporting in the design, development and delivery of training and education
  • Working collaboratively within the headspace services & key stakeholders
  • Providing clinical supervision to enable graduates to complete their discipline’s endorsement or mental health accreditation pathways
  • Provide day to day mentoring and leadership to the Allied Health Graduates and/or Undergraduates.

About the role

Our headspace team is looking for a part-time (.6FTE or 3daysOccupational Therapist (OT) who is passionate about youth mental health and the development of future health professionals across our headspace Casey Cardinia & Dandenong Hastings!

 

You will:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Social Work or Occupational Therapy, and
    • As an OT, be registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA),
  • Significant experience in the design, development and delivery of training and resource packages including those that target clinical skill development.
  • Have excellent leadership skills that foster collaborative learning and can provide skilful feedback

As part of a clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in our headspace centre. Working closely with the Service Manager and Clinical Lead to design, develop and deliver a two-year comprehensive youth mental health training and development program.
