About the Role

The role requires you to be a business solutions manager and have a passion for the Disability Employment Services & Parents Next programs. This means that you will be a person who has experience within DES, but further than that, you are adept at developing the business to find roles that will suit our clients, roles that will assist our cohort in transitioning into meaningful employment.

You may currently be in a role where you are developing business as a consultant but are now ready to take the next step. Do you have a passion?

Our organization is a local leader, and the best in its class. Your goal is to ensure that every employer in the area understands this and to build the network to achieve the required individual performance levels in the delivery of fee for service and contracted employment services, specifically the registration of customers and placement of job seekers into secure sustainable employment. You will do this by;

  • Developing new and existing business and fostering relationships and partnerships that will ultimately result in revenue growth for the organisation.
  • Initiate and maintain effective networks/relationships with local and regional employers, industry, community, Government bodies and associated organisations
  • Be creative regarding strategies to increase market awareness of the Employment & Training Services. Identifying and implementing new initiatives and best practice to maintain person-centered strategies to attract and retain both clients and employers
  • Ensuring operations are conducted ethically, fairly and within the statutory legal and contractual requirements
  • Working with external providers to develop and execute agreements to increase Fee for Service opportunities
  • Work to strict sales targets and KPIs, within the standards of the programs
  • Be entrenched in the local labour market wherever Access has employment sites and be able to identify emerging opportunities
  • Deliver post placement support to both the employee and employer in order to maintain meaningful and engaged employment for our clients
  • Positively promote ACSL and its services, maintaining a high profile and professional company image
  • Participate in corporate and community events.



Selection Criteria

  • Proven success in business growth in the employment sector
  • A strong collaborative and engaging approach to stakeholders, clients and employers.
  • Able to identify problems and challenges and think outside of the box to fix them.
  • Able to engage and really understand the skills that our clients have and assist them in understanding how they apply to a working environment
  • Proven ability to assist clients in building their skills, either through formal or soft skills training
  • A passionate, self-motivated, results driven professional who utilises their skills to assist unemployed job seekers secure employment
  • Resilient and positive person with infectious energy
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Quality attention to detail, report writing and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Government and Non-Government and community sector departments
  • Proven ability in overcoming barriers facing clients, and to match clients with employer needs
