About the role

Reporting to the Executive Manager, the Internal Auditor role will be required to prepare, plan, conduct and report on a range of internal audit review assignments at various locations across Australia, as part of a team and/or individually – contributing to the delivery of the annual internal audit plan.

 

The key focus of the role is to:

  • Participate in audit reviews and projects;

  • Prepare concise and informative audit reports that effectively communicate well documented audit findings and recommendations;

  • Review, monitor and confirm action plans submitted by management;

  • Engage with Stakeholders at every level to ensure understanding and support for the Internal Audit process.

 

To be considered for this role, you will have a demonstrated work history in Internal Audit, External Audit,  Accounting , Business Analysis or program evaluation experience as well as;

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics or another related field;

  • Post Graduate qualification in a related discipline or currently in progress (e.g. CA, CPA, IIA);

  • At least 3 years relevant professional (internal audit, external audit, accounting, business analysis, or program evaluation) experience

  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills.
