At Havelock, we aim to reduce homelessness and housing insecurity by providing safe secure homes to our community. We do this by working collaboratively with the government and community to reduce homelessness by increasing awareness and support and delivering high-quality housing services. We are the largest provider of social housing in the Canberra region, and well positioned to grow given the demand for low-cost social housing.

Havelock Housing is seeking expressions of interest for up to 2 Non-Executive Directors (NED) to complement the skills and experience of the current seven Directors:
1 x NED who is a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA)
1 x NED who is currently practising lawyer
The successful candidate will address and evidence in their 1-1.15 page application letter and 2 page resume of the following skills:
Essential:
- CA/CPA or current practising lawyer
Desirable:
Experience in one or some of the following:
- Property development, disability services, community services or community housing
- Commercial Lawyer
- Not-for-profit sector, including fundraising and income generation
- Local and Federal government funding and grant processes
- Formulating and implementing growth strategies
