About the role

We have multiple opportunities available to join us as Wills and Estate Consultants, here at NSW Trustee & Guardian. Bring your skill and passion for law, customer service and planning, and help make a real difference to the lives of our customers in NSW. 

 

  • We have three full time ongoing roles. 35 hours per week.
  • Location: Two roles based in the Southern Region (Wollongong, Wagga Wagga & Bathurst) and one role based in the Northern Region (Lismore, Port Macquarie & Newcastle). Flexible working options available.
  • Clerk Grade: 3/4. Base salary $74,117 pa to $81,158 pa plus super and annual leave loading.

 

About the role
The role is responsible for the delivery of professional, high quality and timely Wills and Estate Planning services, including drafting simple planning ahead documents, for the NSW community. The role is required to contribute to team performance within the Wills and Estate Planning Network including increasing our market share and providing direct and timely administrative support to ensure the provision of a seamless end-to-end service that is customer and outcome focused.

The role will:

  • Deliver professional customer service to provide high-quality and timely Wills and Estate Planning services that are consistent with NSW Trustee & Guardian’s Customer Excellence Principles.
  • Draft, prepare and execute simple Wills and Estate Planning instruments (including standalone Powers of Attorney and Appointments of Enduring Guardian) that are legally compliant and to a high standard.
  • Undertake associated pre and post appointment activities and transactions to deliver timely and quality service to customers.
  • Coordinate venue hire logistics for Plan Ahead Days and community engagement activities for the region’s marketing strategies and plans.
  • Assist with undertaking local community engagement events to increase brand awareness and uptake of Wills and Estate Planning services.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience and high quality integrated service delivery. This includes maintaining a contemporary approach to service delivery and customer engagement through a range of strategies including face-to-face, video conferencing at location and remotely.

Essential requirements  

  • Current driver licence and ability to travel across NSW as required. 
  • Willingness to obtain accreditation in Will making, Power of Attorney and Enduring Guardianship documents. 
  • Available to work after hours and on weekends as required.
