The Partners in Wellbeing – Small Business Wellbeing is a collaborative, progressive Team of experienced Mental Health clinicians focused on the mental health and wellbeing needs of small business owners affected by Covid-19
.
Who we’re looking for
You will be comfortable providing training to small groups, delivering workshops online and in-person, working with affected business owners, their staff and families, to provide 1:1 support and referral. You’ll enjoy meeting with stakeholders, business owners and industry leaders as you build relationships throughout the region. You will be part of the Business Wodonga Team, as well as part of an innovative and supportive state-wide team of mental health clinicians/consultants.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree level qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health, Nursing or related fields.
- Familiarity with the challenges and rewards of small businesses operation.
What you’ll be doing
Here at EACH, we are looking for a Mental Health Professional to work directly with Business Wodonga to support small businesses affected by the pandemic in a full-time or part-time capacity until 30 June 2023 (due to current funding).
As a Mental Health Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Working directly with Business Wodonga to identify the unique needs of their organisation and members and provide direct support and referral pathways to appropriate services as required.
- Working remotely with the local peak body, you will conduct regular meetings via face to face and a virtual setting and through the development of webinars & workshops showcasing relevant wellbeing topics.
- Providing a combination of direct support to members and referrals to internal and external service providers based on the assessed needs while increasing the knowledge and capacity regarding mental health within the peak body team.
- Initiate primary consultations with small business owners who are experiencing a decline in their mental health and wellbeing due to covid-19.
Who you’ll be working with
You will work in collaboration with the CEO of Business Wodonga to best support the needs of the local businesses in the community.
You will also be part of a team working across Victoria.
