We are a leading specialist family violence service working with victim survivors in Eastern Melbourne. We also do prevention and education work nationally.

Family violence can take many forms such as intimate partner violence, child abuse, elder abuse, carer abuse, parental abuse and sibling abuse. Our services are directed towards women, children, pets and other animals, who are responding to any form of family violence.

About the role

Want to help make a difference  to people experiencing Family Violence? Use your project management and stakeholder skills to help increase safety for victim survivors through better access to emergency accommodation.

  • Full time 12 month role, total package circa 130K negotiable (inc super and NFP salary packaging)

About the Opportunity

EDVOS is thrilled to be part of the Local Family Violence Motel Coordination Project it’s about engaging with a range of stakeholders to coordinate better access to motel accommodation for people experiencing family violence.

You will develop systems, protocols and resources which will support a more coordinated, area level approach to utilising motels for family violence emergency accommodation. The Project will aim to address the key risks and challenges in identifying appropriate motel options and managing relationships with moteliers.

About you

You’ll have a solid project management background and familiarity with the not for profit health and community sector, ideally with knowledge of Family Violence. You’ll be values driven and motivated by doing good in the world.

People describe you as an analytical systems thinker, skilled at breaking down big goals into achievable bite size steps to get there. You are also great at engaging a diverse group of stakeholders and keeping them connected on the journey to achieving the project goals.
