About the organisation
Council to Homeless Persons (CHP) was established in 1972 as a public company limited
by guarantee.
CHP is the peak Victorian body representing organisations and individuals with a commitment to ending homelessness. CHP hosts the Everybody’s Home campaign, which is a national advocacy alliance with over 400 organisational supporters and 40,000 individual supporters.
About the role
The national campaign to fix Australia’s housing crisis is looking for an experienced campaigner to lead the next stage of the campaign. You’ll be building on the campaign’s solid media presence and working with a powerful network of organisational and individual supporters to achieve a significant increase in Government investment in social housing. If you understand the housing policy landscape and have campaigning runs on the board then this job is for you.
A generous salary package, and flexible hours and location are available for the right candidate. The position is currently for 9 months with possibility of extending subject to funding.
