There is now an opportunity to join Endeavour Foundation as Chief People Officer (CPO) to proactively lead all areas within the People and Wellbeing division, including Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, People Operations, Change Management and Culture & Inclusion.
Reporting to the CEO, you will play a vital role in the leadership and strategic direction of the organisation. This position will serve as a trusted advisor, functional expert, and strategic partner to the CEO and other executive leaders, guiding all aspects related to human resources. The CPO will be responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s people-related initiatives, contributing to the overall strategy and success of the company.
Endeavour Foundation primarily supports people with disability, focusing on supported employment, in-home care, accommodation, and community access. As the largest employer of individuals with disabilities in Australia, the organisation operates across a wide range of sectors, including commercial packaging, recycling, manufacturing, and food production. Additionally, through Community Solutions Group, Endeavour Foundation positively impacts people’s lives by offering employment, education, training, and specialised disability support to individuals, families, and communities.
To successfully manage people operations across these diverse functions, you must demonstrate a thorough comprehension of the complexities of the organisation. Your key accountabilities include:
- Lead the design and implementation of the organisation’s people strategies and priorities to maximise employee engagement, build capability and drive productivity.
- Build strong and productive relationships with all business leaders, acting as a strategic partner and functional expert regarding all people-related activities.
- Demonstrate safety leadership in every action and decision and take action to improve safety where necessary.
- Oversee the delivery of contemporary people services that are aligned to the organisational strategy and focused on driving business performance through an exceptional employee experience.
- Support the establishment of an innovative and best practice diversity, inclusion and wellbeing strategy and associated plans to enable Endeavour Foundation to make possibilities a reality.
- Identify and manage organisational people risks in accordance with the Endeavour Foundation risk framework.
- Champion strategic recruitment and retention plans to ensure ongoing skills and capabilities are available to support the organisations requirements.
- Lead the development, implementation and embedding of organisational transformation and change priorities and initiatives.
- Evaluate and propose systems, tools, and technology to improve the efficiency of the People division while actively pursuing continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the organisation’s employee relations strategy aligned to organisation Values.
- Be accountable for providing payroll activity conforming to various legislative requirements, awards, and enterprise agreements.
It is expected that your professional qualifications will be complemented by exceptional personal drive, a high level of integrity and a commitment to deliver. You will have a proven depth of HR Business Partnering experience drawing on your leadership and influencing skills and achievement of significant policy outcomes, preferably gained in the human services sector.
