About the role
Our Senior Philanthropy Officers collaborate with generous supporters and talented colleagues to secure donations for an exciting range of ANU priority projects.
We seek people who are intellectually curious, work fast and write well, have a talent for building relationships and rapport, and are proactive and results focused. Our Senior Philanthropy Officers must be smart, adaptable communicators, equally comfortable engaging donors from all walks of life, briefing senior staff, and partnering with subject matter experts. You will need energy, persistence, and the sense of adventure to get things done in a complex, dynamic organisational environment.
We are driven by ambitious KPIs and a clear vision for growth, and we support our team to succeed, celebrate their wins, and help them plan for future career progression. We cherish our friendly, supportive, flexible and resilient team culture.
One of these roles will focus on philanthropic organisations (like trusts and foundations), and thus experience of grant writing, grant management and/or program management will be highly regarded.
You may be new to fundraising but have worked in business development, sales, strategic communications, arts management, or the non-profit sector. We welcome applications from a diverse range of candidates. Your most important quality will be the commitment and capability to deliver an outstanding level of service to our donors and to ANU.
