Sara Sterling joined Volunteering Victoria in January 2018 with a focus on Sector Development services. She has ten years’ experience in government and not for profit sectors. She has focused on volunteer management, program support and administration and training and development. She has a Masters in Social Policy, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She is passionate about volunteers, volunteer managers and supporting the sector broadly
Megan Cassar is a passionate, efficient and skilled volunteer leader, currently employed to set the strategic direction for volunteer engagement at Oxfam Australia. Megan also volunteers to facilitate the City Network of Managers of Volunteers; an independent, informal network of volunteer leaders in Melbourne and at PANDA as a Community Education and Training Volunteer.
Penny Aquino has had over 30 years of management and leadership experience in a number of sectors including education & training, hospitality and Not for Profit, particularly volunteer management. She has a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma in Hospitality management, change management qualifications and awarded opportunities to further develop leadership capabilities. Penny is committed to lead the involvement of volunteers to benefit themselves, the organisation and the community(s) they serve. Penny has held volunteer management roles at World Vision, RSPCA and is currently the Volunteer Resources Director at The Salvation Army – combined over 13 years in volunteer management.
