About the role

About Climate for Change

Climate for Change is a volunteer-powered, not-for-profit organisation on a mission to create the social mandate for effective action on climate change.

We use a unique and tested model of small gatherings in people’s homes to facilitate face-to-face conversations about climate change, with each gathering generating at least another opportunity for others to join in the conversation.

This unique model within the climate movement combines social and behaviour change theories with knowledge from network marketing and community organising to facilitate transformative engagement and exponential growth.

Our goal is to encourage conversations about climate change with enough people to shift the social climate on the issue. We have grown rapidly since our humble beginnings three years ago and have big plans for next year. For more information, visit www.climateforchange.org.au

About the Fellowship

Following the success of our 2017 Fellowship Program, where fellows successfully undertook the four month fellowship and project managed nearly all aspects of a $150, 000 fundraiser, we are looking for a new group of 25 committed volunteers to join us in 2018.
