About the role
The Barwon Stroke Support Centre is looking for a volunteer with OT experience to facilitate 1 on 1 AbleX sessions.
Able X is a clinically proven combination of therapy games with the versatile AbleX and AbleM controllers, providing high intensity task-based recovery for stroke-affected arms and hands. The AbleX system stimulates neural plasticity: the brain’s ability to re-establish damaged neural pathways.
The volunteer could be a retired OT looking to do some volunteer work, a current OT willing to aid with the program in their free time or an OT student looking to gain experience in assisting individuals with therapeutic technology.
