About the role

The Buddhist Discussion Centre Australia is a volunteer not for profit organisation located in Melbourne’s outer Eastern region. 

We are seeking part time professional help to work with our Directors to provide basic accounting services.

Competency using MYOB and Xero software is essential as this role includes recording the financial transactions of the company, producing quarterly reports including end of year financial statements and quarterly BAS returns. On the job training will be provided by a practicing accountant.

Our organisation is quite small, has good facilities, is well managed and provides an interesting and friendly workplace. Volunteer work can be done either during or after business hours including weekends, offsite or onsite.
