About the role

The Partners in Aid Board seeks to ensure that the Board membership reflects a range of skills relevant to both good governance and the effective operation of international projects. We are currently particularly interested in recruiting an additional person with overseas project experience, who would be keen to be involved not only in Board governance, but in reviewing project proposals, overseeing projects throughout the project cycle, and monitoring and evaluation. We currently have projects in India, Sri Lanka and the Philippines, and Board members have the opportunity to be closely involved with one or more of these projects.

Board Directors are formally elected by Partners in Aid members at the AGM for a period of three years. A detailed induction into the Board’s functioning, and the various documented policies and procedures, is provided for new Board members.
