About the Role

We are seeking to strengthen our existing ‘hands-on’ Board and ensure effective growth and succession planning. Positions are voluntary.

We are looking for Directors with Board experience, networks, and passion for our vision. Whilst open to applications for General Directors, we are especially seeking those with expertise in the following areas:

  • Company Secretary experience
  • Treasurer experience

 

We are seeking Directors who:

  • bring a strong understanding of governance roles, duties and obligations
  • have a strong commitment to ending trafficking, exploitation and modern-day slavery, through awareness raising, education and advocacy
  • are committed to giving their time, skills and expertise to creating social change
  • are strategic thinkers who will assist in shaping the future of the organisation, based on evidence and sound judgment of past and emerging trends
  • will take a leadership role in driving projects forward on behalf of other Board members, whilst being excellent collaborator and communicators, and committed to working in partnership with other Board members, Management Team and volunteers to achieving our collective goals
  • have excellent attention to detail
