About the role

Friends for Good (FFG) is Australia’s first charity focusing solely on loneliness. Founded in 2016, Friends for Good raises awareness of loneliness as a significant issue in the community, conducts research and addresses gaps in services to foster a greater sense of connection and wellbeing for individuals and communities. Friends for Good would like to embark on new fundraising initiatives. The main purpose of this work will be to generate income to support the work of FriendLine which is a critical mental health service assisting Australians experiencing loneliness.

Working in conjunction with the CEO and a team of volunteers, the Community Fundraising Director would be responsible for devising a plan of events and activities to generate funds to further the work of the charity.
