Position Description
The Urban Camp Board of Directors is currently seeking expressions of interest for two new Directors with backgrounds in either Legal, HR, Risk and Marketing and Communications or a combination to join the Board. This is a voluntary position established in compliance with the Co-operatives National Law (CNL)
About The Organisation
Urban Camp is based in Parkville and prides itself on being an affordable accommodation venue for over 10,000 individuals from schools and community groups visiting Melbourne each year. For visitors from rural and regional Victoria, interstate and overseas the Camp provides a unique camping experience in the heart of the city.
Urban Camp is a Not-for-Profit community based enterprise managed by a Board of Directors elected from the Co-operative membership. Daniel Whykes is the Chief Executive Officer who oversees the day to day management of the camp on behalf of the Board and Membership of approximately 350 individuals and institutions.
