About the role
Located in Warburton, Victoria.
Bi-monthly board meetings and participation in 2-3 activities throughout the year.
Applications are sought from appropriately experienced persons for three (3) volunteer Board Director vacancies that exist at YREC.
Following YREC’s success in acquiring its premises, renewing its brand and strategy – YREC is expanding its Board expertise in line with changing demographics and business needs with the influx of individuals seeking a tree change and starting new businesses.
As a Board member, you will be accountable for the prudent management and strategic direction of YREC – key responsibility areas include:
• YREC community business culture
• Risk Management & Governance
• Strategy & Roadmap
• Finance
• Business Performance
We seek experienced persons possessing strong background in one or more of the following business domains.
• Marketing & Communication
• Virtual Office / Business Services / IT
• Business start-up or Business Incubator Management
• Grant writing & fundraising
• Finance & Risk Management
Demonstrated experience in committees/associations/boards essential and Australian Institute of Company Directors qualifications are highly regarded. Candidates must have strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and connection into the Yarra Valley community.
