About the Role
The Wyndham Community Cultural Foundation (WCCF) is a not-for-profit community organisation and endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient. It was established by a Deed of Trust in 1999.
As a result of a community fundraising campaign in 1999, WCCF contributed funds towards construction and fit out of the Wyndham Cultural Centre. It also established a Community Cultural Trust Fund for ongoing development, enhancement and promotion of arts and culture within the City of Wyndham.
The board manages a significant investment portfolio and distributes proceeds in accordance with a budgeted funding cycle – currently twice a year.
A Cultural Advisory Panel has been appointed to process applications and, if eligible, makes funding recommendations to the board.
Now, WCCF intends to increase awareness of its objectives and raise the profile of its grant programs, as follows:
- Collaborative Projects
- Individual Grants
- Significant Acquisitions
Expressions of interest are sought from community members to join the board and assist in its aims of:
- Managing the Trust Fund; and
- Developing, enhancing and promoting arts and culture across a broad and range of artistic, community and cultural diversity in the City of Wyndham.
Desirable skills and areas of specialisation:
Accounting, Business, Banking & Financial Services, Fundraising, Grants Administration, Law & Legal Services, or Marketing and Communications

The Board meets monthly for approx. 1.5 hours in the late afternoon in Wyndham.
