About the role
The Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (M.A.D.E) is one of Australia’s newest museums, built on the place believed to be the historic site of the 1854 Eureka Stockade in Ballarat, Victoria. M.A.D.E is dedicated to commemorating the events of Eureka, the democratic values expressed, and its contribution to shaping the contemporary democracy that we all enjoy today.
M.A.D.E is seeking expressions of interest from community members to join our skills-based voluntary board. The M.A.D.E board seeks interested parties with the following skills:
• Marketing
• Philanthropy
• Community engagement
The board meets every 6 weeks on a Thursday from 12-2pm and all board members have an active commitment to sub-committees and special projects as required.
