Your new role
You will play a key role in providing ongoing support to our clients through face to face interactions. Here you will provide emotional and social support, assist with enhancing the meal experience, work alongside the clinical and lifestyle teams in ensuring the resident is not isolated, lonely or missing out on what they enjoy. Helping new clients fit it, get to know the facility and build healthy relationships with other residents and staff. Role may include simply sitting with someone and watching the world go by in the sunshine, walking around our garden like facility, dabbling in some board games or small chat about their lives, sharing stories, and encouraging involvement in group and/or individual activities. Similar previous experience preferred but not essential – training can be provided.

What you’ll need to succeed
A track record of experience and success in care role would be preferred, background in customer service would be with professional education and experience and a some good hobbies &/or life experience. Ideally you will have some experience with working with older people and be able to commit to some regular hours each week. You will be highly competent in building and maintaining quality relationships and building trust with your clients. Mostly importantly, you will have an unwavering passion for providing an exceptional level of service at all times.

Initially a six month contract, with a view is to extend, where you will receive training and reimbursements for any reasonable expenses and be provided with a genuine caring and supportive work environment.
