Chairperson

Friends for Good is a newly established not-for-profit working to free people from loneliness. Research shows we are the only group nationally working just on this issue that affects people from all walks of life.

We are looking for a passionate leader who is keen to build a public persona that will bring national attention to loneliness and the stigma that surrounds it, whilst bringing the rest of the board with them. We also need to establish a robust funding base so the Chairperson having a strong network currently is highly desirable; preparedness to drive the agenda for this is essential.

We are a voluntary group at present, with a small but very committed board and a voluntary CEO and General Manager. We meet monthly in the Melbourne CBD.
