Christmas Giving Appeal Volunteer

Hi there!

Cure Cancer Australia would love your involvement to help us support cancer researchers during this Christmas period.

Sydney Airport has partnered with Cure Cancer Australia for the annual Sydney Airport Community Christmas Giving Appeal, which unites the airport and wider community in support of a worthy cause.

All funds raised from this year’s appeal will go to Cure Cancer Australia to fund Australia’s brightest emerging scientists. These funds are critically important for us to continue to support early career researchers working across all areas of cancer research to find cures. Our goal is to make this the last generation to die from cancer.

To help us raise funds and awareness for this cause we are currently recruiting volunteers to assist us at the Airport throughout December.  

Volunteers are required at both domestic and international airport terminals to collect donations. In T1 and T2 we will require volunteers to assist at our activations, and at T3 we will require volunteers to sell merchandise.

What: Tasks will vary from helping with bucket donation collections around the terminals, to assisting travelers with our giant Christmas selfie booths. All details will be included in the volunteer information pack that will be sent to you once we receive your enquiry, and full training will be given at the start of your first shift.
Other information: Cure Cancer will cover all public transport and/or parking costs. Refreshments will be provided.
