About the role
he C.O.A.C.H. Community Mentoring Program establishes much needed relational support for families and individuals who are finding life challenging. Mentors are sourced from community groups and organisations (and through you!) and are trained to walk alongside, build confidence and encourage participants towards making positive changes in their lives.
COACH Community Mentor Training
If you are interested in becoming a Mentor and making a positive difference in the lives of others, we have online training coming up!
COACH online training involves three weekly sessions, times and days TBC. Training is free, workbooks will be delivered to your home and there is no obligation to continue in the program once you have completed the training. We have a number of participants eagerly awaiting to be matched with you!

How it works
Referrals to the program are made from community and government organisations in Metropolitan Melbourne, or by the individuals themselves.
Both mentors and participants commit to the program for a minimum of 12 months with a strong focus on relationship building and working towards goals.
Participants come from a variety of backgrounds, and wanting to address a number of issues such as parenting, life skills, workforce participation, addiction, education, training, and cultural competency skills such as English language support. C.O.A.C.H. Community Mentoring has been proudly developed and supported by Crossway Lifecare and Mission Australia.
